POW Overview

Operations Control POW Overview

Prerequisites

The POW Overview is a live-view terminal monitor that is available only from the N4 web client N4.zul. This view shows the real-time information for the points of work (POW), work queues, and ASC moves.

The POW Overview displays two monitors: the POW Monitor on the top and the ASC Schedule Monitor at the bottom.

There are three filters for this view:

POW Monitor

The upper section is the POW Monitor (on page 1) which displays a POW panel for each point of work with real-time information. Each panel displays the POW name, productivity, current and next work queue’s move count, current vessel name, and current work queue name.

The POW panel displays the move stages and the number of moves (jobs) at each stage. When any of the work instructions within each move stage has an active alarm, the move stage row background color changes to red, indicating the presence of an alarm.

The panel displays these move stages:

The move stage display names can be customized. The move stage calculations include all CHE types that could serve a quay crane, including AGVs, auto shuttles, manned shuttles, straddle carriers and terminal tractors.

When you select a move stage, the Work Instruction List view is opened with details about the WI. From the Work Instruction List view, you can select a WI and open the Work Instruction Inspector (on page 1).

ASC Schedule Monitor

The lower section is the ASC Schedule Monitor (on page 1) which shows real-time information about the ASC scheduled moves on a graph with the ASC blocks for the next 20 minutes. The ASC blocks are displayed in ascending alphabetical order of block name.
