The Chargeable Appointment Events view displays the extracted billable events for the appointments and the truck visit appointments that exist at the current scope level. An external system can use the extracted chargeable appointment events to bill for the events.

You can use any of the following options to extract billable events (on page 1) for an appointment or a truck visit appointment:

• Manually extract the chargeable appointment events (on page 1).

• Use the Appointment Event Billing Extract background job (on page 1).

For each extract, manual or through the background job, N4 adds the records to the Chargeable Appointment Events view and assigns a batch number. N4 assigns the same batch number to all the events extracted in a single billing extract.

All the records displayed in the Chargeable Appointment Events view are stored in the argo_chargeable_appt_events table in the database. The external billing system can extract applicable fields from the argo_chargeable_appt_events table. The external billing system can also edit, update, and delete the values stored in the argo_chargeable_appt_events table.

Prerequisites

• To access the Actions menu options, you must have the Chargeable Appointment Events Actions - Correct All privilege.

In addition, you can use the following Actions menu options to:

• Export SNX File: Export the selected event(s) as an XML file using the snx.xsd format.

• Correct Appointment Event Attributes (on page 1): Correct the appointment attributes for the selected event.

• Correct Unit Attributes (on page 1): Correct the unit attributes for the selected event.

• Correct Flex Fields (on page 1): Correct the flex fields for the selected event.

• Cancel Event (on page 1): Cancel an extracted event so that you can re-extract it the next time you select the associated appointment or truck visit appointment. You can select multiple events to cancel.

Notes

• The Chargeable Appointment Events view displays all the fields that an external billing system can use.

• You can cancel an event only if the event status is QUEUED. You cannot cancel an event if the event status is DRAFT or INVOICED.
