The Equipment Inspector displays the details of the selected equipment and enables you to perform various actions on it. The Equipment Inspector provides a view of all aspects of the selected equipment from the perspective of the complex in the current scope. You can keep the Equipment Inspector open at all times as you work in other views and forms, and you can move and resize it as needed.

When you update the selected equipment, N4 automatically refreshes the information displayed in the Equipment Inspector.

To view the updates performed by other users or XPS, click in the Equipment Status view (on page 1) or the Equipment Inspector.

The Equipment Inspector displays the basic information for the selected equipment in the following areas:

The Details pane (on page 1) displays additional unit information below the button.

To display the Details pane:

  1. Click .

  1. From the list on the left, select the type of information to display.

To perform actions:

  1. Click Actions to display the menu.
