Pre-advised tab

You can access the Pre-advised tab in the Booking Item form (booking) or in the Order Item form (rail orders).

The Pre-advised tab displays the units that you have pre-advised or received against the selected booking item (bookings) or order item (rail orders). On the Pre-advised tab, you can cancel a pre-advised unit; however, you cannot pre-advise a unit against the selected order (booking or rail order). To pre-advise a container, use the Pre-advise Export Container form.

To cancel a pre-advised unit:

1. On the Pre-advised tab, select the unit.

2. Click .

When you cancel a pre-advised unit, it is no longer associated with the selected order (booking or rail order), but it still remains in N4. The Transit State of the unit removed from the booking depends on the ARGOPREADVISE006 (CANCEL_PREADVISE_NOT_RETIRE_UNIT) setting.
