Type: Vessel AutoStow parameter
Description: A penalty applied for sequential moves that cannot be twin-carried (2-20') from the same block. Use this penalty in order to create move sequences that optimize twinned pairs from a single yard block while avoiding the twin fetch component of the move. It allows the carry CHE to move within a block to collect a container pair and thus reducing congestion at a single fetch CHE. Equally it avoids having the carry CHE travel around the yard to collect the twinned pair.
AutoStow penalty PENTWB works as follows: (XPS version 2.1.10 and above)
Checks only the immediately adjacent sequence in the same work queue, and checks both AutoStow planned projections as well as pre-planned specials.
If the current container is the first container in a twin pair, AutoStow does not apply PENTWB if there is at least one other unstowed, unblocked, non-stopped container of the same stow factor in the same yard block.
If the current container is the second container in a twin pair, AutoStow applies PENTWB if it is not in the same yard block as the first container in the twin pair.
