CHEBSY for N4 Automation sites:
Description: This information applies to automated terminals using the ASC Scheduler. Penalty per active job in an ASC or RTG stack for the "put" CHE. This penalty only applies for active CHEs (including CHEs with the Online Repair CHE status, even though they are Offline in XPS) and only to the Handling CHE. If more than one CHE is available in the area, this penalty considers the CHE with the minimum work load, thus preventing yard congestion.
For all POWs with a dispatch mode of A4, the work list for an ASC is determined in the following ways:
By the XPS client, which retains the existing behavior.
By the ASC Scheduler, if the Equipment Control parameter CWLSN4 is set to Y. The system-seeded code extension AscWorkloadFilter handles the logic of updating an ASC with a workload value based on pre-defined criteria. For more information, see CHEBSY calculation for N4 Automation sites.
When CWLSN4 is set to Y, the functionality of the XPS setting IGCHBS (on page 1) is not available. IGCHBS determines if Expert Decking should calculate CHEBSY for containers that are still on the vessel. If you want this functionality, you can customize the AscWorkloadFilter code extension.
For N4 Automation sites, use the CHETZO penalty for congestion in the TZ.
Imminent time frame only. (Chases CHEs)
