Description: Determines the maximum threshold (in hours) for the appointment time difference between the bottom container and the next top container. The minimum threshold (in hours) for the appointment time difference is configured in the Expert Decking parameter OPTLPT.

Consider the example, where:

• OPTEPT (maximum threshold for appointment time difference) = 4 hours

• OPTLPT (minimum threshold for appointment time difference) = 2 hours

• Actual appointment time difference between the bottom container and next top container = 3 hours

In the above scenario, penalty is not applied as the appointment time difference is within the threshold range.

Note: This functionality was developed specifically for RTG sites that deck vessel discharges to an RTG block. This functionality is not validated or supported for ASC operations. In this case, the penalty should be set to the default value (0) to avoid incorrect calculations.
