In this scenario, you set up carrier-specific yard allocations for containers imported into the yard from a vessel. You need to do this for:
Transship containers that must be stacked by outbound vessel and port of discharge.
Imports that must be discharged at the same time as another vessel. Alternatively, you could use a direct allocation group and range for this. For imports leaving the yard by truck, it is preferable to use general import allocations if possible because you can achieve the necessary container segregation with much less effort.
