Type: Setting
Description: The port number of the N4 load balancer or N4 node REST (Representational State Transfer) Web Service. N4 Automation needs this value to communicate with N4 using the REST Web Service. You must configure this parameter if you want to manually dispatch moves, cancel work assignments using reset handlers or force reset handlers for an automated CHE from an XPS client. A non 0 value overrides the auto populated value.
The value you enter depends on the N4 setting ARGORESTWEBSERVICE001 (LOAD_BALANCER_ENABLED).
ARGORESTWEBSERVICE003 (LOAD_BALANCER_PORT) set to 'True':
With a load balancer, the value you enter for RESTPO should match the N4 setting, ARGORESTWEBSERVICE003 (LOAD_BALANCER_PORT). The load balancer forwards the request to the N4 node where the REST Web Service exists.
ARGORESTWEBSERVICE001 (LOAD_BALANCER_DISABLED) set to 'False':
If not using a load balancer, N4 creates the REST Web Service on each individual cluster node, so enter the port of the N4 Cluster node you selected for this purpose (the same node as RESTIP).
Note that 9080 is the N4 default port for REST Webservice when ARGORESTWEBSERVICE001 = 'false'. 8280 is the N4 default port for REST Webservice when ARGORESTWEBSERVICE001 = 'true'
After you configure this parameter along with RESTIP, you can use the Control > Pools & Equipment > Actions > Reset Handler option to reset a CHE, such as an ASC or an AGV in the yard.
Caution: When N4 is using TLS (https), RESTPO must be manually configured, the auto populated value might be incorrect.
